Let me introduce myself. My name is Miriam Collins. The word ‘mara’ is the Hebrew origin of not only my first name, but also Martha, Mary, and Margo. It means ‘bitter.’ Yeah, I didn’t like it either especially when I found out that my father wanted to name me Stephanie because his name was Stephen. The name Miriam was my mother’s pick. I studied and was trained as a registered nurse. I was working in the area of public health when I left it to pursue full time ministry. I was ordained as a prophet under apostle-prophet Bishop Bill Hamon, founder of Christian International, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I have had 25 years of ministry experience in the areas of prophetic intercession and spiritual warfare, teaching the WORD, mentorship, and deliverance ministry.
GOD has a purpose for everything He does or allows. The purpose of this ministry as its name implies is to address the BITTERNESS that exists in: members of the Body of CHRIST, spiritual leaders in particular, and people in general. According to Hebrews 12:15, bitterness has roots that contaminate all areas of life. GOD wants to offer healing and cleansing from bitterness through His WORD and prophetic ministry so that those who receive will be able to joyfully declare, “I’m not bitter anymore!” I recommend that you read each post slowly and prayerfully paying special attention to the verses of Scripture. You may have to read the post more than once and meditate on it throughout the day. At the end of each post there is a prophetic declaration for you to release on your own behalf. Make your declarations with a heart full of FAITH because the WORD of GOD teaches us, “…The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the WORD of FAITH which we preach…” (Romans 10:8, KJV).
Remember that GOD gives us His WORD to accomplish many things in our lives including healing and deliverance: “…Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saveth them out of their distresses. He sent His WORD, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalm 107:19-21, KJV)
